“Metropolitan Volodymyr has been discharged from hospital, however it is temporary. Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church took part in the liturgy in Pokrovsky convent in Kyiv. At the moment, Metropolitan Volodymyr feels much better, he is undergoing rehabilitation under the supervision of the best gerontologists,” Channel 5 reported on Friday.
In late September, the church leader was discharged from hospital, where he was recovering after undergoing surgery on September 16 for a fractured hip. Metropolitan Volodymyr was again admitted to hospital in late October.
In early December, the primate was transferred from the intensive care unit to a rehabilitation ward.
