A sniper opened fire at policemen, probably from the conservatory building, reports RIA Novosti with the reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ukraine. As a result of the disorders in Kiev 28 people have already been killed in all, ten of them law-enforcement agency officers.
More than twenty law-enforcement agency officers were injured on Thursday as a result of the sniper's shooting on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti ("The Independence square") in Kiev, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ukraine.
"It is ascertained that protesters on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti openly used firearms against servicemen and "Berkut" members, probably aiming from the conservatoire building... Now over 20 law-enforcement agencies' officers are injured," notes a report on the ministry's official website.
