Moscow, March 14, 2014

A spiritual talk for parents of handicapped children was broadcast on Saturday in Moscow. The talk was prepared by Rector of All Saints' Church at "Krasnoye Selo" in Moscow, a member of the Union of Russian Writers, education worker, writer and preacher Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov was to take place, reports Miloserdie.ru.

Parents of children with special needs always have many questions to priests. Such families need spiritual guidance particularly. Fr. Artemy answered the most frequent questions.

The main theme of the talk was the question of coming to faith for the salvation of one's soul, including salvation from despondency and hopelessness.

- Why does a person need faith, if we can "live according to our conscience"?

- How can a person from an atheistic family find the faith?

- How can faith help a family with a gravely sick child, if every day is like in battle and "there is no time for that"?
