The aim of showing of this documentary was to show the public how forces acted with the intention of partitioning Yugoslavia, and were directed against the Orthodox world, reports the Sapatriarkos Uckebani ("The Patriarchate's Bulletin") weekly.
After the film, the gathered audience arranged a mass procession with banners and slogans calling people not to forget the tragedy of the Serbian nation, which shares the same religious faith as Georgians. Permission for this demonstration was preliminarily received from the mayor's office. The procession participants marched through the Rustaveli Avenue and finished their rally near the National library's building, where the NATO mission in Georgia is located.
On initiative of the public, a funeral service was celebrated for repose of the victims of the Serbian war of 1999.
A similar action, organized by the Eurasia Institute, took place in Batumi as well.
